Soul Mending: How to Heal Spiritual Traumas with Soul Retrieval

Traditional shamans view “soul loss”—the wounding of a person’s spirit as a result of trauma, often at an early age—as a leading cause of physical, emotional and psychological dysfunctions. The often unconscious impulse to numb one’s feelings in order to carry on is the psyche’s survival strategy, but it takes its toll. The shamanic approach to healing this condition is to journey into the inner spirit world, retrieve the lost part of the soul, and reintegrate it into the psyche to return to wholeness. In this class, we’ll learn shamanic techniques for traveling to the spirit world and accessing the wisdom of inner guides; diagnosing soul-loss symptoms; developing the ability to “see” the source of our own and others’ traumas; and performing soul retrieval.
