As a publishing company, we use a lot of paper. But we are always seeking ways to offset this usage -- we recycle all of our office papers and most of our books are printed on sustainably sourced paper from responsibly managed forests (FSC-certified). We give back to our community and the planet in other ways too, most notably through our ongoing reforestation project in Costa Rica.
For decades, archaeologists have used airplanes and aerial imagery to discover artifacts and ruins not visible from the ground. But this only worked where they were permitted to fly. Now, as reported by the New York Times, Coast to Coast AM, and many other sources, nearly 400 ancient stone "gates" have been discovered across Saudi Arabia -- all thanks to Google Earth.
