Birgit Heyn is a Viennese pharmacist who became disenchanted with conventional medicine and the over-dependency of patients upon synthetic drugs. She studied Ayurveda during a period of many years with several Indian teachers and at the Hindu University of Benares. This book is a synthesis of her studies and continued research, providing an excellent overview of both the science and philosophy of Indian natural healing.
"A valuable and admirable attempt to contribute to the growing interest in the fascinating system of Ayurveda."
